Threaded rod refers to a straight, relatively long metal rod used in a variety of applications and industries ranging from plumbing, electrical, automotive, heavy construction, HVAC, fire sprinklers, telecom and food service. Single-end and double-end threaded rod are often bent to make specialized fasteners such as anchor bolts and u-bolts. A common type of threaded rod is all thread or fully-threaded rod, where the thread extends the complete length of the rod.
